Counselling & Psychotherapy
Hello, and Welcome
If you’ve found your way here, you may be thinking about starting therapy or simply exploring what counselling might look like for you.
At times, something can feel unsettled - a sense of anxiety, pressure, or disconnection that’s difficult to fully name. You might notice patterns in relationships, a tendency to overthink, or a feeling of putting yourself last without quite meaning to.
Life changes - whether in relationships, work, identity, or direction - can sometimes bring these feelings into sharper focus.
Therapy offers space to pause and reflect, without pressure to have everything worked out. It can be a place to understand yourself more clearly and to explore what might help things feel steadier.
If you’re curious about whether we might be a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch. We can arrange an initial conversation and see how it feels.

About me
I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with 18+ adults offering a calm, compassionate and confidential space where you can bring whatever feels heavy, uncertain, or unspoken.
My path into psychotherapy began with a deep curiosity about people: how we make sense of our experiences, how past relationships shape the present, and how change becomes possible even when life feels difficult. Over time, this has grown into a commitment to offering a reflective, non-judgmental space where you can understand patterns in your life and develop a kinder, healthier relationship with yourself and others.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked within the NHS, counselling services, and charitable organisations, and have been in the mental health field for over seven years.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional learning.
I also know what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair. Having experienced therapy myself, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to begin - and how meaningful and transformative the process can be.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on relational, humanistic, Psychodynamic and CBT ideas, tailoring therapy to you as an individual.
Working Together
I work in an integrative way, which means I don’t believe therapy should follow one set path. People come with different stories, different needs, and different ways of understanding themselves, so the therapy grows from you rather than fitting you into a particular approach.
For some people, our work might focus on what feels most present, anxiety, low mood, stress, or something that’s happening in relationships right now. For others, we might find ourselves gently looking back, noticing how earlier experiences or relationships are still shaping how things feel today. Often, it’s in connecting these parts of your story that things begin to make more sense.
There are times therapy may feel like slowing down and reflecting, giving space to feelings that haven’t had room before. At other times, it might feel more about finding steadier ways to cope or respond to what life is bringing. We move between understanding and practical support, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
What matters to me is that the work feels like something we are doing together. I pay attention to how therapy feels for you, and we can talk about what’s helping, what feels difficult, or if something needs to shift. There isn’t a “right” way for therapy to unfold; it unfolds through our conversations, at your pace, and with what you’re ready to explore.

Starting Therapy
Beginning can feel like a big step, so I aim to make the process clear and straightforward.
Free 15-Minute Introductory Call
We start with a free phone or online call. This is a chance for you to briefly share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. There’s no pressure to commit, it’s simply an opportunity to see whether taking the next step feels right for you.
Initial 50-Minute Session
If you decide to go ahead, we arrange a full session. This gives you a clearer experience of what therapy together might feel like. We can explore what has been happening for you, what you might want support with, and begin to understand how we could work together. It’s also space for you to notice how you feel in the session.
There is no obligation to continue after this session. It’s a chance for both of us to see whether we are a good fit.
Continuing Therapy
If we decide to continue, therapy can be short-term, focusing on a particular difficulty, or open-ended, allowing deeper exploration over time. We see how things unfold and how you’re feeling about the work as we go.
Areas I Often Work With
In my work, certain themes tend to come up more frequently - particularly for adults who learned early to adapt, take responsibility, or put their own needs aside.
You may recognise yourself in some of the following:

Early Roles & Feeling Unseen
• Growing up feeling emotionally overlooked or unsupported
• Being the “strong” or responsible one in your family
• Learning to minimise your own needs to maintain connection
• Feeling unseen

Relationships & Boundaries
• Anxiety or insecurity in close relationships
• Fear of rejection or abandonment
• Difficulty setting boundaries without guilt
• Losing yourself in romantic partnerships

Expectations & Life Transitions
• Pressure to succeed or meet family expectations
• Navigating different cultural values or identities
• Career changes, breakups, or identity shifts that stir old patterns
You don’t need to relate to all of these for therapy to be helpful. People come with many different experiences, and our work is always shaped around you as an individual.

I provide individual therapy in person and online to adults, older adults and young adults 18+.
Fees
My fee is £70 per session. Payment is made by bank transfer before each session.
